Florida is one of the most popular holiday destinations in the USA so finding a hotel to suit your needs should not be a problem.

Alachua has some wonderful lakes and hotels are available close to many popular destinations such as Holden Pond, Kanapaha Botanical Gardens, Lake Alt, Lake Kanahapa and Lake Santa Fe.

Apalachicola is situated on the Panhandle of Florida and enjoys a quiet, peaceful atmosphere. Attractions include the Apalachicola River, Gorrie Museum, Fun Center, the Gulf of Mexico, St George Island, the Lighthouse and many others.

If you want to experience an American Rodeo, you could try Arcadia. Arcadia is home to the Arcadia All-Florida Championship Rodeo which is Florida's oldest rodeo. Often referred to as the "Granddaddy of 'em all".

Atlantic Beach has hotels close to Hanna Park, Mayport Naval Station and Jacksonville Beach so is excellent for those wishing to go boating, jet skiing, rafting, scuba diving or deep sea fishing. Of course, if that sounds too energetic you can just lounge around on local sun bed facilities.

Auburndale is home to the Cleveland Indians and Detroit Tigers. Midway between Tampa and Orlando you can be sure to be close to some of Central Florida's main attractions.

Bal Harbour lies between Miami and Fort Lauderdel so there is plenty to do in this area. Being close to Miami Beach you can take advantage of all the beach activities plus the nightlife of the city.
